Did you find ePsychologist service useful for you?

' Each person's map of the world is as unique as their thumbprint. There are no two people alike...no two people who understand the same sentence the same way...
So in dealing with people try not to fit them to your concept of what they should be'

FAQ

How long does it take to reply to an email?
Emails are always answered by real professional, there are no "automatic" responses. If you email we try our hardest to get back to you within 72 hours.

How does the ePsychologist service work?
Trained MH professionals provide the same kind of confidential emotional support to people in distress as during face-to-face. Emails enter a virtual queue, and are picked up on a rotational basis by a MH professional working in PPD - The Psychological Centre organization.

Is the email service confidential?
The software that supports ePsychologist service is specially written to be confidential and reliable.

When should I seek traditional mental health treatment rather than internet counseling?

  • If you are in an abusive or violent relationship.
  • If you have been seriously and deeply depressed.
  • If you are having thoughts of harming yourself (i.e. suicidal thoughts) or someone else (i.e. violent thoughts toward others), or psychotic symptoms.
  • If you are a minor (under 18 years old).
